TSB Hub Operations Assistant

The South Taranaki District Council is offering this exciting position based at Taranaki's premier sport and recreation centre, TSB Hub in Hawera and is seeking an enthusiastic, well organised and motivated individual to fill this key role.

This is a permanent full time 40 hour per week position working on a rostered basis which includes evenings, weekends and public holidays. Flexibility is required as this role also includes some on-call work.

The role involves all aspects of assisting in the work of a modern sport & recreation centre and includes some plant and equipment maintenance, set ups and pack outs for programmes and events, cleaning, reception work, facility supervision and going out of your way to meet customer's needs.

The TSB Hub Operations Assistant will need to be physically fit and have the ability to manually handle equipment associated with sports set-ups, functions and events. Facility operations experience is desirable along with building and equipment maintenance skills as is commitment to the role and attention to detail. The successful applicant will have a positive outlook and love working with customers.
