The South Taranaki District Council is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person with plenty of initiative to help provide a high quality, friendly service to all visitors at the Waverley LibraryPlus facility.

The LibraryPlus Officer position is responsible for ensuring that customers are provided with the information they require in a friendly and efficient manner while enjoying a great experience during their visit to the library. Libraries today are so much more than books. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable, can work in a team or individually, are comfortable with technology and keen to keep learning and are confident working with children, teens and/or adults.

An excellent standard of customer service and an ability to communicate well with all types of people from various backgrounds and cultures is essential. Computer skills, particularly with Microsoft software, are also necessary.
