The South Taranaki District Council (STDC) is seeking to appoint a skilled Executive Assistant to work with our Chief Executive and new Mayor. We are looking for someone who can provide the full range of administrative and secretarial services, arrange civic functions, handle customers and liaise with our elected members.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to respond to changing workloads and priorities while maintaining flexibility. It would suit someone who can anticipate the needs of the Chief Executive and Mayor, has great organisational flair, is detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to handle confidential information with discretion. A high level of integrity and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the organisation is required, as is the ability to complete a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision.

A proven track record as an Executive Assistant in a corporate environment is essential.
